-The ship was carrying a supply of munitions, Germany used these two facts to justify the attack. -
The Zimmerman Note is discovered
-It was intercepted and translated by the British agents. This telegram proposed an alliance between Mexico and Germany, and promise that if war comes out with the U.S.
-Germany will support Mexico in the recovery of Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. But Mexico declines the offer. -

The Russian Monarchy is overthrown
-Nicholas II of Russia abdicates and a provisional government is declared and led by the Bolsheviks under Vladimir Putin power.
-Russian people blamed Nicholas II for his poor military decisions, and Empress Alexandra (who was German) for her advised role in government, believing that could sabotaged Russia, ensuring its defeat in the war. -
