This is what started the Great Depression. The Great Depression started in 1929 and did not end until 1939.This is why this is an important date on my timeline.

    Hitler's rise to power began when he was appointed leader of the Nazis, and the chancellor of Germany. Hitler was corrupt and used propaganda to make people of Germany believe the he would help them end the embarrassment. Hitler told the people that minorities such as Jews, Slavs, Gypsies, and communists were no superior. The Nazis and Hitler began the holocaust which was meant to kill these minorities. Any person that did not agree with the Nazis was considered an enemy of the state.

Pearl Harbor was where the U.S. Pacific fleet was headquartered.Lots of Japanese bombers ruined 18 American navy ships, one of them was the USS Arizona.It killed over 2,000 soldiers, sailors, and civilians. There was a total of 156,000 American, British and Canadian soldiers that landed in Normandy along the coast by boat.
