Fall of France
This was a large battle that was fought inside of France. The Fall of France was when the Germans had successfully invaded and taken over France. -
Battle of Britain
This was an intense battle in Great Britain. Germany attempted to take out the Royal Air Force, but Britain wouldn't let them do that so they fought back and won. -
U.S Oil Embargo on Japan
This was a time that really helped us a lot, considering the fact that we were Japans oil supply. Since the bombed us, we decided to cut off their oil supply and keep it for ourselves. -
Pearl Harbor
Every person should know Pearl Harbor, if you don't you live under a rock. Pearl Harbor is the reason why the U.S had decided to enter World War Two. Japan had decided to attack our Naval base in Hawaii with a surprise attack. This came as a surprise to the U.S, considering the fact that we were talking about peace treaties with them for awhile. -

Stalingrad is the biggest battle in World War Two. Germany tried to invade the Russians but failed, the Germans had 750,000 estimated deaths. With Russia having an estimated 500,000. This battle started to war between Germany and Russia -

The Bataan Death March is another event that explains itself. The Japs forced 76,000 allied soldiers that have been captured, to walk 80 miles across the Bataan Peninsula. -
Battle of Midway Island
Naval battle that took place around an island. It was a mostly dog fighting battle between the United States and Japan. -
D-Day
D-Day was an operation called Operation Overlord. It was a battle between Germany and the U.S, France, and Britain. One of the bloodiest battles that the allies won. -
Yalta Conference
This was a conference between U.S, Soviets, and the United Kingdom. They discussed what they were doing with the Axis Powers. -
V-E Day
V-E stands for victory in Europe. This was when the Axis Powers in Europe finally gave up and surrendered. -
Nuclear Attack on Nagasaki
Nagasaki was an attack on Japan by the U.S. The U.S had dropped a nuclear bomb on Japans city Nagasaki. -
Nuclear Attack on Hiroshima
This attack was another nuclear attack. It was just like Nagasaki just in a different place of Japan. -
Invasion of Czechoslovakia
Soviet Union led Warsaw Pact troops in an invasion of Czechoslovakia to crack down on reformist trends in Prague. They got Czechoslocakia, but suffered from heavy consequences for the unity of the Soviet Union.
