    Before World War 2 officially started Hitler and Stalin made a non-aggression pact where both countries signed for an agreement on to take military action against each other for the next 110 years. And it lastet about 2 years, it was until Hitler decided to take more land and invade The Soviets teritories.

    Nazi Germany invades Poland and start the World War 2 and two days after the invasion (3. Sep) France and Britain declares war.
  • Britain and France declare war on Germany

    Britain and France declare war on Germany
    After hearing that Germany is invading Poland, England and France decide to declare war on Germany to shoy their commitment to Poland, and they try to take action to "safe" Poland, but it is too late. It is also here FDR invoke the Neutrality act.

    This event started when Hitler found out that we are sending supplies (food, amonition etc.) to Britain and The Soviets, Hitler tried to prevent the US shpis to get to Britain by sendung u-boats (Wolf pack) and ships to shoot the American boats with supplies down. There was a lot of US ships who sank, only in the first 4 months of this war, we lost about 87 ships, and 7 months into 1942 the German wolf-pack destroyed about 681 allied ships.

    So basically what happend here was; The Soviets decide to help the Germans out by attacking Poland from the east, so Poland didn't have much to do but surender. It was another (secret) pact between Stalin and Hitler that made the Soviet to invade Poland. The Pact was called Ribbentrop-Molotov Pact.

    After about a year Italy decide jo join the war and help Hitler. The same day they join the war, they attack France from the South. As soon as Italy declares war on Britain and France, Britain took action immediately by starting intern citizen with Italian background.

    This was a tactical move by the allied powers (mostly USA), The Soviets wanted us to attack the Germans from the West since they where fighting them in the East side and if we did it like that we would be able to slit Germany up in 2 fronts. But our tactic was way more clever, cause we thought that if we cut Germanys supplies off from North Africa we would be able to invade then from South, Germany got their oil supplies from Africa and by cutting them, we would limit their machines.

    This was the beggining of an air-battle between Britain and Germany. Here we have a big advantage, cause we (britain) had envented one of the greatest weapons ever made, the Radar, this gave us a big advantage cause now we knew where the enemies were.

    This continues for a couple of months and finaly gets to an end. After moths of bombing over London and other cities in Britain we win the war, at this point London looks like a ruin and will take a lot of energy to build up again.

    This is the oberation that leads to the battle of Stalingrad. What this oberation is, is for the Germans to take down the 3 major cities. Oberation Barbarossa was a big turning point for the war, cause that made the Germans fight in 2 fronts, West and East Europe. The tagets for this oberation was Moscow, Leningrad and Stalingrad.

    Japanese army atacks/bombs the United State harbor in Hawaii. After that the United State fully joins the World War 2 with troops, airplains, ships etc.

    It was a long war between US and Japan starts. It's the first fight that we get into, cause the bombing of Pearl Habor was a very personal thing and there was a lot of people killed there without a reason. It was such a suprise, cause we didn't expect the attack, but our presedent knew that there would be a time where we would be attacked. Other reasons for the war is that Japan started to invade islands to get resources, and after they started to aime for Malaysia (Britain had colonies)

    The US declares war on Japan after the Japanese attacks Pearl Habor. And the same day the United state inter the war with soldiers, tanks, plains etc. The neutrality act is no longer a thing, now we inter the war with ful power.

    The battle started when Germany started to bomb Stalingrad. It was a perfect target for Hitler, cause he knew that Stalin wouln't give up on it since it is named after him, it was one of the most important cities and it is a very stragetic point, cause if he want to go futher he could go for the middle east where all the oil supplies (middle eass). This is known as one of the most bloodiest fights in history.

    A couple of months after the Soviets win the war when General Paulus surrendered what remained of his army of about 91,000 men. Over 150,000 Germans had died. This fight is consittered one of the biggest turning-point in WW2.

    We have now defeted the Axis powers and cut off their supplies. After this we start to move north, the first thing we did was to invding Italy and got down Musolini.

    The Allied Powers had a conference about what they where gonna do with Germany and Japan after the war (and in general). Stalin also agreed to have free elections (wich he later broke) in Eastern Europe and fight side by side with the US in the Asian war against Japan. But must of all the other aggreements where hold secret for the rest of the world.

    As soon as the Allied Powers starts to invade/conquer Berlin, Hitler hides in this special made bunker where he actually spend his last time in. Hitler comits suicide in a luxurious bunker 50 feets under Berlin, he simply takes a pill that he have tested on his dog the day before he took it. His in the bunker with his wife and some other people.

    It was finally the end of what we today know as the longest continuous military campaign(6 years). We had a "new" devicec called "hedgehog" it was a depth-charge mortar that made it harder for the German U-boats to survive.

    This was the day where we freed Europe from the Nazi's. It was officially done, but we still had a fight in the pacific against Japan, so that was the next goal for the allies. That was alwais our plan, cause we knew that the Geermans could win the war without Japan, but Japan could not win the war without Germany.

    This was a big moment since there was so many involved in the project, and it was such an expensive project. The result of the final product surprised everyone, cause it was way more powerful than they ever expected.

    This event was a result of us having new leader/presedent and because we wanted to end the war, in this point we have already won the battle/war in Europe. We try to get Japan to surrender, but since it didnt help we droped the first Atomic bomb ever droped on another nation. The result of this bomb is massive, there were about 70,000. killed, but the Japanese wouldn't still not surrender. The bomb was dropped by an airplane we have named Enola Gay

    3 Days after the first bomb were dropped, we drop a second bomb on Nagasaki. This one killed even more people (80,000). And the reason for this one was, that the Japanese still wouldn't surrender.

    This was the last step of everything, it was the event that officially stoped WW2. The nazi's and Italy is down, Japan just surrenderd.

    Japan finaly surrender after we have dropped 2 atomic bombs and killed 150,000 men, but we also had some other options than dropping the bombs, but because the bomb would leave the smallest amount of death, we picked it. Some people/theories say that the second bomb was unnecessary cause they would have surrendered nomather what, and it was just to show our power we dropped it.
