    6.1 Ancient China, People started growing rice in China.

    Population grew and people lived together in villages and grew/raised their own food.

    Chapter 6 The dynasties rule

    There was 5 dynasties: Sia, Shang, Zhou, Qin, and Han. Their philosophy comes from Confucius, Lao Zi, and legalism.
    Xia dynasty: 2200 BC
    Shang dynasty: 1500 BC
    Zhou dynasty: 1100 BC
    Qin dynasty: 221 BC
    Han dynasty: 207 BC

    8.1, Crete, Volcano Exploded

    A volcano erupted and destroyed the entire Minoan civilizations.
    People were mostly buried alive.

    Chapter 11.3: Eastern Empire, End of Roman Empire

    After Justinian died, the places he took over was all lost. They begin shrinking. Soon, the ottomans took over and the Roman Empire disappeared.

    Rome’s legendary founder was Romulus. It was once a monarch but became a republic later.

    8.3 Ancient Greece, Olympics started

    The Olympics took place in Olympia and includes running,wrestling, boxing, chariot races, and javelin throwing.

    Ch. 9.1: Persia and Asia Minor, Cyrus conquered Asia Minor

    During the rule of Cyrus, he made Persia into an empire. He conquered the entire Asia Minor and stopped at Hindu Kush

    Cyrus made the Persian Empire and Alexander The Great created the Macedonian Empire.Athens, Sparta, Macedonian Empire, and Crete

    8.2 Athens, Democracy was created

    Under the rule of Cleisthenes Athens became the world's first democracy.

    6.2 Zhou dynasty area, Warring states period begun.

    The lords started to fight each other for land. They disobeyed the emperor and became different independent states.

    Chapter 9.2: Greece, Persian war ended

    After the Persian wars ended, Greece formed a alliance to protect each other if attacked. It was called Delian League.

    Chapter 10.2: Ancient Rome, Creation of the assembly and Tribunes

    Peblians complained about that they don’t have any positions. The government feared a rebellion so they created the assembly and Tribunes

    Euclid was a great mathematician and taught in Alexandra, Egypt. He was the one who created geometry.

    When he went to India, his tired army refused to go on. He began his long journey home.

    Chapter 8 Ancient Greece

    The Mycenaeans were the first Greeks. The Minoans were not Greek because they didn't speak the Greek language.

    Chapter 10.3: Carthage, The Punic Wars

    Carthage’s leader, Hannibal, declared war on Rome but never lost a battle. They had never went to Rome and later, Hannibal suicided.

    6.4 Ancient China, QinShihuangdi took the throne

    Shihuangdi conquered the warring states. His strong army defeated almost all the others.

    6.3 Ancient China, Shin Huang Di's death.

    He was obsessed with death, the was so scared of death he started his quest for eternal life. He died on his quest for eternal life.

    6.4 Ancient China, The Qin dynasty collapsed

    Liu Bang took over and started the Han dynasty. He was the first common person emperor.
  • Period: 50 BCE to 1453

    Chapter 11: Rome and Christianity.

    Jews were persecuted by romans and executed. Then, Rome became a Christian Empire.

    Chapter 11.1: Roman Empire, Death of Cesar's Murderers

    After Cesar was assainated, Octavian avenged Cesar’s death by murdering the murderers.

    Chapter 11.2: The Roman Empire, Birth of Jesus

    Jesus Christ the Messiah, which means god’s anointed one, was the beginning of a new religion. He was God’s holy son.

    6.5 Ancient China, Buddhism spreads to China

    Han dynasty declined and helped Buddhism spread. The weaker the Han grew the more Buddhism grew.

    He was the most famous Roman dictator. He was loyal to the republic and has no eager to hold his position.

    The Olympics are still here today with a lot more sports than they had. They have things like sailing and swimming today too.
  • Chapter 9, Modern day event/geometry

    We still you use geometry until today. It was the study of flat shapes and lines. It was called Euclidean Geometry.
  • Chapter 11 Modern day event, Earth, Roman Empire gone

    The Roman Empire do not exist anymore and has been replaced by Italy, Turkey, and the other countries around.
  • Ch.6 Modern day event - China united-2017

    China is still united until today. Even after the Han dynasty they are still in one piece and OK.
  • Chapter 10: Modern day event, The Roman Forum

    The Roman Forum is still around for people to study until today. The Maximus sewage system is also in the Forum and fully functioning.
