    Shakespeare's Globe
    The Globe Theater opened its doors in 1599. Its owners were Burbage's sons and some members of the professional company of actors known as Chamberlain's Men.
    It was demolished in 1644 and rebuilt two decades ago in the spirit of the 17th century.
