WiFi
Campus-wide WiFI is being installed. Teachers and students will be able to easily access the internet to maximize learning with the use of technology. -
iPads to Create, Collaborate, Communicate, and Critical Thinking
Grades K-3 will each have one iPad Cart per grade level.
Grades 4-6 will be one to one. -
Footsteps to Brilliance
In partnerships with the local library and other community resources, children will be able to access the Footsteps to Brilliance program. They can use any device that has internet access. This program promotes early literacy and vocabulary building even prior to starting school. Our students will come to kindergarten better prepared. -
Library/Media Center
Library will become a Media Center equipped with technology for teachers and students to utilize for presentations and collaborative projects that require laptops or desktops. -
Classroom Modernization
All classrooms will be modernized with new interior walls, furniture and technology. The new furniture will allow for smooth tranisition to collaborative groups. The technology will include wall talkers and flat screen TVs. -
e-Books
Students will access all books on their individual device. Textbooks will no longer be used. -
Individual Learning Plans
Students will have individual learning plans. Teachers will not teach one specific grade/age. Students will be able to work at their own pace and make choices about their learning. Teachers will differentiate for all students.
