    Naturalization Act of 1798
    It was an Act that permited President John Adams to deport foreigners deemed to be dangerous and it increasedthe residency requirements to 14 years. This was done to prevent immigrants, who were known to vote for the Republican Party, from becoming citizens.

    This is defined as the federal principle of government. Former president John Adams was known as a federalist, and used the Nutralization Act for his benefit.

    Revolution is defined as an overthrow of a government or social order in favor of a new system. The American Revolution was the result of a series of social, political, and intellectual transformations in American society, government and ways of thinking.

    The Embargo Act of 1807 was a general embargo enacted by the United States Congress against the United Kingdom and France during the Napoleonic Wars. The embargo helped the United States move closer to an industrial revolution.

    The Battle of Verdun was the longset single battle of World War One. The attack on Verdun came about because of a plan by the German Chief of General Staff, von Falkenhayn.

    casualties are the number of people that died in a war. There was a high casualty rate in the Battle of Verdun. French losses 337,231 of which 162,308 dead or missing. German losses 337,000 of which 100,000 dead or missing.

    The lost of jobs during the Great Depression caused people to be violent towards each other. It also created a panic in government.

    The Great Depression had devastating effects in countries rich and poor. after the fall in stock prices that began around September 4, 1929, and became worldwide news with the stock market crash of October 29, 1929.

    World War II was the most widespread war in history, and directly involved more than 100 million people, from more than 30 different countries. It resulted in an estimated 50 million to 85 million fatalities.

    Genocide is the deliberate and systematic extermination of a national, racial, political, or cultural group. The Holocaust was a genocide in which approximately eleven million people, including six million Jews, were killed by the German military.

    Being degraded means to be treated or regarded with disrespect. Black people started the civil right movements because of the way they were being degraded, in a country they had come to cal home.

    The Civil Rights Act of 1964 outlawed discrimination based on race, color, religion, sex, or national origin. It ended unequal application of voter registration requirements and racial segregation in schools, and at workplaces.
