Connor finds out he's being unwound
In the begining of the story Connor is in his parents office looking around and when he opens the drawer, he finds his unwinding papers that both of his parents have signed. -
Connor runs away.
Once Connor finds out he's being unwound he tries to run away. He tries to get his friend, Ariana, to run away with him. She refuses but Connor still runs away. -
Connor hides in a truck
While Connor was attempting to run away, he hides in a truck at a gas station. Other kids get found but the truck driver helps hider Connor. -
Antique shop
The kids find an antique shop that turns out to be a place that they hide unwinds. The unwinds have to help at the shop as well. -
Storked baby
The kids were trying to get on a school bus to hide from a cop car. Connor then finds a storked baby. Connor felt bad because he has history with storked babies so he convinces the rest of the kids to bring the kids along. -
School
The kids get on the school bus with the storked baby and head to school. Once they get there they just blend in with the crowd and then hide in the bathroom. -
Arriving at the graveyard
The kids board a plane and are put in cargo box's, they then arrive at a place called the graveyard. The graveyard is full of thousands of refugee unwinds. The Admiral runs the whole place to save the unwinds. -
Staying at the graveyard
While the kids stay at the graveyard a lot happens, they get assigned jobs, Lev shows up and the unwinds end up overthrowing the admiral. When the unwinds get word of the goldens dying and the admiral supposedly killing them, they start to take over the graveyard. -
Getting caught
The kids get caught when they bring the admiral to the hospital for having a heart attack. Roland tells the nurse to call the cops. Once the cops show up they admit to knowing about the graveyard and looking the other way. The police still have to report the kids. -
Happy Jack harvest camp
Once the kids get turned in they are transported to Happy Jack Harvest camp. They are all scheduled to be unwound except for Risa, she gets in the band for her piano skills. Roland is the first to get unwound, then Lev and other clappers blow up the harvest camp. Connor gets injured and has his arm removed, he receives Roland's arm.
