short description of story

princess laine has just recently come of age to marry one of the princess from the 2 neighboring kingdoms. she doesnt want to marry and instead decides to run away from everything and goes into the magical forest filled with beasts and different creatures. both princess arrive in laines kingdom and now have to go into the dangerouse forest to save her. one plans on taking her prisoner and forcing her to marry him while the other just wants to returne her safley back to her kingdom.

this explaines how laines father met with the other 2 kings and decided that to better his kingdom he would marry off his daughter to either of there sons and that when his daughter came of the marrying age she would choose one of the other kings sons.

princess laine is to turn 18

its june and princess laines birthday is in less than 1 week. on the day after her birthday is when she is supposed to make her desicion on who she will marry. on the day before her birthday she makes a plan to leave. that night she sneaks out of the maids courters but is stopped before she can leave the castle grounds.

sage (19 turning 20 august) and brooks (20 turns 21 in december) begin there journies to laines kingdom

a week prior to the princesses birthday the two princess depart on there journey through the safe paths of the magical forest to get to laines kingdom. sage is a day into his travels before he realizes his younger brother atlas (14 (may)) has followed him. instead of turning back he travels the rest of the journey with him.

princess laine is caught

she decides that to not attract any unwanted attention she'll sneak out the maids courters and sneak away into the night on foot. she tries to slip away into the darkness and take the river that leads north to seek refuge there. but before she can even get off the castle grounds she is stopped and is brought back to her father.

laine gets thrown into the dungeouns

her father makes the executive dessition to lock laine in the dungeons to keep her from attempting to run away.

princess laine turns 18

laine is let out of the dungeons for her 18th birthday and to lift the spirits of the ppl. the princes of the other kingdoms are supposed to be at the kingdomat this time but they are both a day behind schedual.

princess laine runs away from the castle

while laine was locked up she had found the errors in her plans and decided on something that was bound to get her out of her situation. on the night of her birthday she dresses in her most plaine clothes (a sleek dress thats still kinda fancy bcs shes a princess) and wears a black coat to hid her figure and to blend into the night. she steals a horse from the stables so she'll be faster than she was before.

laine runs away continued

laine is on her horse and she wals with her horse slowly to the river that leads north. her dad has susspected that she might attempt to leave again so he put guards guarding the way north. the guards see her and her stowaway horse and try to capture her. she gets on her horse and rides away from the guards (south). also the direction to the magical forest. she doesnt stop though as she rides deeper and deeper. until her horse is spooked by something in the night and reers on its hind legs -

Laine runs away part 3

• reers on his hind legs throwning laine off his back and onto the ground hard. laine passes out from the hard landing on the ground.

sage, atlas, and brooks arrive at laines kingdom.

after there week of traveling the three boys meet at laines kingdom. the king announces that his daughter is missing. the princes are requested by the king to bring back his daughter and sage and brooks see it as a way to swing the princess in there favor since "every princess wants to be saved by a prince." so they embark on there journey through the unsafe parts of the magical forest in an attempt to save the princess. (atlas and sage journey together while brooks journeys on his own)

laine and the witch

the witch felt responsible for the accident and couldnt just let laine die out in hte forest so she had brought her back to her hut. she explaines hat she found laine and figured kiko (the squirrel) caused the accident. she offers some of what was in the couldron to laine (its soup) and she feeds laine. after they eat laine explains what she was doing in the forest and nila ( the witch) listens.

laine wakes up

laine finds herself awaking to a strong smell. she finds herself in a witch hut made of dark wood and has a bunch of herbs hanging on every wall. and plants and books scattered everywhere. a couldron is in the middle of the room and has a potion bubbling in it. the witches framiliar (a saber toothed squirrel - one of the many beasts in the forest) the witch opens the door to her hut and enters with her framiliar. the witch is a young woman maybe 2 years older than laine. -

brooks finds laine

brooks had tracked laine all the way to where she passed out and even to the witch hut. deciding that laine was in grave danger from the witch he fires a flaming arrow into the hut and sets it on fire. niola gives kiko to laine so that she can run through the forest and maybe not get killed and niola dissapears in a puff of smoke. laine runs out of a back window with kiko and just barely evades brooks.
