    The Townshend Act happened because of the fact that the king in that time started to tax the US and so the British didn't have enough money to supply their own people.

    After Britain implemented the Townshend Acts the colonists felt it was a violation of there rights. A mob of protesters were rallied up and British soldiers shot into the crowd of protesters, killing 5 men.

    This was a political protest from The Sons of Liberty who boarded British ships and threw tea into the sea. This even took place on December 16,1773 and the British response led to the start of the Revolution. This event took place because of the taxes on goods.

    The Battle of Yorktown(also known as the Siege of Yorktown) was a major battle between The Continental Army led by George Washington, and the British. Battle of Yorktown was considered the last major land battle and was a key factor in the Revolutionary War.

    This was a peace treaty between representatives of Great Britain and the USA. This treaty ended the revolutionary war and also ended any conflicts between the allied forces(Spain, Netherlands, and France)
