    Atticus and Aunt Alexandra where fighting in the other room and Scout was eves dropping. Aunt Alexandra was fussing about how she did not want Cal around she didn't think that Cal was good for the family and she wanted Atticus to do something about it. Scout thought that her Aunt and Atticus where talking about her and not Cal. When Scout realizes that they are talking about Cal she was relieved not only because it wasn't about her but also because she knew Atticus would never get rid of Cal

    When they found Dill under Scouts bed Scout realized how lonely she really was without Dill, especially when Jem had been shutting her out most of the summer and had been acting more mature.

    Boo
    Scout ask Dill why Boo Radley has never ran away like Dill did. Dill's answer made Scout realize that Boo actually didn't have anywhere to run unlike Dill who had pretty much another family. Boo was all alone in her mind
