Women On the Home Front
+1. Because all of the men were at war, the women started having to do labour, but they were treated badly and were not compensated fairly. Women worked long hours for low wages but at least for the first time in civilized history in North America, women could work a job and make their own money. -

To capture Vimy Ridge, Canada's separate forces had to work together, but when they finally managed to come together they were able to achieve something that many other "more powerful" armies could not. This is thought of as many as when Canada started being its own true nation instead of just being the younger sibling to Brittan. (), & -
