  • Moved house to Sandy Bay

    Moved house to Sandy Bay
    After 15 years at Seven Mile Beach our family decided to move from the beach and head into town for convenience. At the time this was just 3 days before my 1st birthday. We bought this house in 6 Star Street, Sandy Bay and did a renavation at the back of the house. We then went onto live here for another 6 years.
  • First time to Queensland

    First time to Queensland
    This was my first trip to Queensland. We stayed at Mooloolaba for around a week. During our stay at Mooloolaba there was a cycling event along the Esplanade. This picture is taken on the balcony with my 2 older sisters. This is also where I would watch the cycling from in the mornings.

    E.L.C. at Collegiate
    I did E.L.C. at Collegiate when I was 2. My favourite things to do were painting and riding bikes. My best friend at Collegiate was Sam Botte. I was there for 1 year and went 2 mornings a week.

    My first day of school was in Kinder at The Hutchins School. I was in Mrs Burman's class and at the time I was only 3 years old. I attended 3 days a week for my first year and my favourite thing to do was play with toy cars. My favourite subject was P.E. and my best friend was Lachie Richardson.

    Got our dog Rusty
    Rusty arrived on an aeroplane from Victoria at the Hobart Airport. He is a spoodle, crossed between a spanel and a poodle. He arrived on my Mum's birthday in a cage. At the time he was very small and he is currently 8 years old.

    I started Auskick at lower Queenborough when I was 5. I went every Saturday during the season for 2 years. I did it with lots of school mates from Hutchins. My favourite thing to do at Auskick was play the games at the end of the sessions.

    Went to Australia Zoo
    This was my first time to Australia Zoo. We did lots of cool things that day. We watched a performance of men feeding the crocs. My favourite thing to do was feed the baby Kangaroos.
  • Trip to Cook Islands

    Trip to Cook Islands
    Our family went overseas to the Cook Islands for 2 weeks. We went to Raratonga for the first week and Autaki for the 2nd week. One of the major things we did was go on the Yellow Boat. The Yellow Boat is a tour that takes you out to the different reefs. I enjoyed jumping of the boat and looking at the different fish.

    In year 1 I played soccer for South Hobart. This pictured is taken at Mt Nelson ahead of our first game. In this game we won 17-1 I scored around 10 goals, it was against Calvin. My postion was striker along side Sam Botte.

    First time to North Melbourne Training ground
    In 2008 I travelled to Melbourne with my dad to go and watch my second game of A.F.L. football this time against Carlton. This is me kicking the football at Arden St now known as AEGIS Park. I was lucky enough to kick the football with a former North Melbourne player Cruize Garlett.

    First time to M.C.G.
    Later that day after visiting North Melbourne's training ground I went to the M.C.G. We went to the sports museum and played the differnet type of sport games. We also went on the M.C.G. tour, this was my first time. We were able to pretty much go all over the stadium including onto the ground. This picture is taken of me sitting on the interchange bench.

    In year 2 I started playing cricket for University and still do. My first year was in the 3/4 competition althougth we were a year younger. Our team was very successful and worked well as a team. My favourite thing to do was bat and my favourite shot was the pull shot. I can still remember in that year hitting a six on the first ball of the game.

    Our Futsal competition was played out at the Hockey Centre. Our team was called Strikers United and won the Grand Final in our first year playing the sport. We won on a penalty shoot-out in tense circumstances.
  • Moved House

    Moved House
    After a few years of renting, our new house down the road at 3 Star Street, Sandy Bay was finally at a stage were we were able to move in. We are still currently living in this house.
  • First Triathlon

    First Triathlon
    In year 3 I decided to enter into the Individaul event of the School Triathalon. I had to do all 3 legs, swim, ride and run. My best leg would have been the bike overtaking more people than any of the others. I am not exactly sure where I finished but I think it was around 30th. I then remember going home and watching the first day of the Ashes Series at the Gabba.
  • Moved to Clarence for A.F.L.

    Moved to Clarence for A.F.L.
    After 3 years of football at the Sandy Bay Lions I decided to move to Clarence which was were my Dad played his football. I met lots of new friends during this process and overall I enjoyed my football better. Our team consisted of boys moving from Lauderdale and Sandy Bay to combine a team of 13 players. At the end of the season I was voted best player in our team.
  • Won a Tennis Tourament

    Won a Tennis Tourament
    In the Launceston tennis tournament Toby Reeve and I placed first in the U/10 doubles. Toby Reeve is a boy from Smithton who I paired up with and played lots of double tournaments together. In the final we won, 6-3 6-4 against Sam Whiteman and James Nation. Both of us played to the best of our abilities and played really well as a team.

    Went to Ulverstone for Intrastate Cup
    I was selected into the U/13 Southern Tasmania cricket team. I was a year younger than everyone else in my team. In the individual player ratings I was ranked No. 1 for our team. Unfortunately our team overall didn't fare to well finishing last against the North and the North West. My high score for the tournament was 16.
  • Boxing Day Test

    Boxing Day Test
    On Chistmas day last year I flew out of Hobart with Lachie Prescott and our dads and headed for our first Boxing Day Test match of our lives. We stayed in Docklands at Lachie's Grandma's unit for 4 nights. We went for the first 3 days of the Boxing Day Test. On day 1 of the test match we were involved in setting a new world record for the biggest attendance at a cricket match, 91 092 beating the old record of 90 800.

    Went to Ulverstone for Intrastate Cup
    I was selected into the Emerging Tigers for the second year running. I was in the U/13's again but this time as captain. Our team worked well as a team finishing second behind Northern Tasmania. This picture is taken at Devonport Oval ahead of out T20 clash against Northern Tasmania. In this match I would go on to open the bat.
