    At aged 19, Karl Popper studied the works of Albert Einstein and Sigmund Freud. He took notice that Freud's work often looked to learn from the past to verify his theories and was focused on confirming them. On the other hand, he noticed Einstein's theories focused on theories that looked towards the future to confirm these theories. This heavily influenced Popper's mind because he saw the willingness to be disproven and to fail in Einstein's theory.
