MJ was Born
My first nephew, MJ, was born on July 30, 2015. He just turned 2 years old a month ago and it has been so fun to watch him grow! -
Started in Shawnee's Teaching Program
After I graduated in 2011, I decided to pursue nursing as a career. My family works in the medical field, and so they convinced me that I needed to be too. After 2 years of time spent in nursing, I decided to take a little bit of time off to figure out what I wanted to do with my life. I finally realized that teaching is what I want to do as a career and so I started there. -
I got Engaged
Cortland and I were doing our annual Christmas for each other at the Shawnee Lodge in Portsmouth, Ohio. That next morning we were exchanging gifts, and he handed me a journal that had 2 pages written in it. In the journal he told me that this was my engagement journal and he proposed right there. -
Emmett was Born
My second nephew, Emmett, was born on October 23, 2016. He is the sweetest boy that I have ever met! -
I Got Married!
Our special day was on July, 08, 2017. We are enjoying the married life so far! -
First Trip to Disney World
On our honeymoon, we went to St. Petersburg, Florida. One of our gifts from our wedding from a family member was park hopper tickets to Disney World for the day. We had so much fun! -
Enrollment in This Class
I'm taking this class in hopes that it will prepare me and give me the knowledge to educate my students in the future. Phonics is such an important part of a child's life and so my goal is to give my students the information that they need so that they can apply it all throughout their lives.
