Broken Leg
This event was the first break in my life of many breaks that i suffered from in my life. I was 4 years old when this happened. My sister and I thought it would be fun to jump off my moms bed into a pile of pillows on the floor. One time i jumped really high and missed the pillows and my leg had broke. I was screaming so loud and i could not walk. My mom carried me in the car and we went off to the hospital. They told me that i had broken my Tibia and that i needed to be casted for a few weeks. -
First Football Game
When I was in 2nd grade I had told my parents that i wanted to play tackle football for our school. But right before football had started i broke my arm and i was unable to sign up and play football that year. When 3rd grade came around i was healthy and able to sign up to play my first year of football for brewster. I was very excited to play. I got the number 39, but every year after that i was 23. Our first game was against yorktown and i was a running back and got the ball a bunch of times. -
Knocked My Front Tooth Out
Today I got my cast off my arm, and 3 hours later..... YUP this happened. U was playing football with my friend ryan at his house on a nice summer day. We were being a little rough and playing tackle football. I went to push him and i tripped over a pretty big rock and i hit my mouth on his BBQ grill. It knocked my whole tooth out, but luckily no damage was done to my face. My friends dad put my tooth in milk because that helps save a tooth and i went to the hospital. -
Got My Rope Swing
i live on the lake and my dad and uncle put up our rope swing. Me and my sister wanted to jump off, but we were both pretty scared about jumping off of the swing. We put our bathing suits on and went down by the swing. I stood on this huge rock down by the lake with the swing in my hands ready to go. I jumped off the rock and i swung over the water and i jumped in and made a big splash. It was such a great feeling hitting the water and doing it over again. -
Dyed My Hair Pink
It was October and I decided to dye my hair for breast cancer awareness. I wanted to show my support but wanted to do a little more than just wearing the pink socks. My moms best friend owns a hair salon place and she took me there to get my hair dyed. I went there and got my hair dyed hot pink. It was bleached into my hair so it took about two months to come out, but i did not care because i was just showing my support for women who suffer from breast cancer. -
Hershey Park
My family and I went to Hershey Park to celebrate my mom's birthday. We all stayed in a really cool hotel. It had different activities every day. We stayed there with my whole family and my grandma and uncle. We had a lot of fun and rode all the rides. Also we went to the museum and made our own chocolate. We learned about the history of the park and how it came to be. It was a good trip with my family and we celebrated my mom at a nice restaurant. -
Joe Namath Football Camp
Me and my friends were really into football and we wanted to go to a fun camp. My friends and i had signed up for Joe Namath football camp where we get to meet him and other NFL players and they taught us new skills to use for football. The first day of camp was cancelled due to lightning storms and my mom was at Chuck's Steakhouse and Joe Namath had went there to eat and my mom was able to talk to him and meet him. Me and my friends learned a lot from that camp and had fun. -
Broken Arm/ Dislocated Elbow
I was at my friends grandpa's funeral at Bleechers funeral home and we went outside to get some air. My friends and i decided to play some tag outside. One of my friends had found a house outside and it was on and he was spraying the grass with the hose water. We were playing tag and i was running down the hill to get to the base and i slipped on the wet grass and tried to catch myself, but i had snapped my arm. I missed the whole football season and felt very bad for a while for that happening. -
First Steelers Game
I am a big Pittsburgh Steelers fan and i was very excited to go to my first game. The steelers were playing the giants so the game was in new jersey at giants stadium. We all went early to tailgate and just have some fun. My dads friend had gotten us very good seats for the game and we had a very good view of the field nd the players. The steelers had ended up beating the giants 24-20 and i was very happy that they won. I had a great time and i plan on going to more games in the future. -
MVP Season
I was in 7th grade at the time and the season just ended and we were at our team dinner and award ceremony. All players get the regular trophies, but they had 3 big trophies. 2 of them were coaches awards and the other big one was the MVP trophy. I had a very good season and scored a lot of touchdowns. A bunch of my friends and i were trying to guess who would get the MVP award. After we ate and gave out trophies, they announced the MVP. I was selected as the team MVP and was very happy -
Broken Nose Surgery
During the summer going into my Sophomore year in high school, I was at my friend ryan's house and we were playing outside. We were jumping really high and doing a bunch of flips on his trampoline. I did a flip, but fell on the trampoline and my friend jumped really high and had landed on my face and nose. My nose was bleeding so much. I waited till football season was over to get the surgery because i really wanted to play. I played the whole season with a broken nose. -
Best Defensive Back Award
My first year as a varsity player started out good. My primary position is a running back and secondary as a safety, I played a lot more defense than offense this year. As a defensive player I played all the time. I rarely came out of a game. I played hard this past season and earned my spot. My stats were quickly adding up. During the season I was named player of the week but the big award camed at our end of the season dinner.My coaches gave a speech about me and presented this award to me.
