    On July 18, 1922 Thomas Samuel Kuhn was born in Cincinnati Ohio to Samuel and Minette Kuhn. His father was an industrial engineer. Both of his parents were Jewish.

    Kuhn continued his education at Harvard the school from which he got his bachelors by completing his Master degree in Physics

    Between 1948 and 1956 Kuhn taught 'History of Science' at Harvard University, per the request of the university president James Conant.

    Kuhn continued his education at Harvard by achieving his Doctorate degree. However this degree was not in physics as his other degrees were, his doctorate was in Philosophy of Science.
