    Theodore R. was invited to Brazil as a guest speaker, he agreed to go since his son lived in Brazil and he wanted to escape the United States after loosing the presidential election.

    As a famous outdoorsman, Theodore was invited to map out the path of the Rio Da Duvida or "River of Doubt" with Colonel Candido Randon and his son Kermit.

    The expedition starts off with a total of roughly 20 men and was intended as a simple tour and mapping session, but things quickly got out of control.

    The group was about to give wup when they came upon 30 ft waterfalls. Although the expedition was saved by Kermit since he had an extensive knowledge of bridges and ropes and figured out a way to lower the canoes down the falls.
  • The End of the Expedition

    The End of the Expedition
    The expedition came to an end and the final head count hovered around 7. A ship was signaled and the party was taken to New York where Theodore quickly got medical help.
