Early Christian abd Roman Empires
Rome is split into two regions by Diocletian. He believed the empires were too large so, he split them up into the western empire which is Rome and the Eastern empire which is Byzantine. The Edict of Milan was a letter signed by the roman emperors Constantine and Licinius, the letter was issued in 313 BCE, and spoke on the ruling of the West and East empires. -
Byzantine
Theodosius II builds a great wall around Consytinople, establishing it as the center of the new eastern roman empire to protect the city by land and from the sea. Justinian became the emperor of the Byzantine Empire he was in high position for military leading and was highly favored by the poeple. Later on in the ruling of Justinian he built the Hagia Sophia a catholic nfluenced church built in Constinople. -
Islam
Muhammud a prophet of Allah was drawn to the teachings of Islam. He, later on, was able t gather a large following and create the Muslim religion we hear of today as Isalm.Muhammud had created such a large following that the government got upset from the lack of money being made they decided to murder Allah. Which was the start of the Sunni/ Shia split. During the split, an Islamic war broke out called the Battle of Tours which is a batttle betweeen the muslims. -

Charlemagne was recognized in the Byzantine Empire when he married Empress Irene> most of the commners like Chralemagne becasue they felt the eastern empire was lacking leadreship. -
