First Boats (dugout Canoes)
The oldest boat ever recovered was the Pesse Canoe in 7600 BC. These boats were very weak often made by wooden logs. They mainly sailed over lakes and small bodies of water. -

Skis
In 6000 BC Skis were used to move around snowy areas and to go down mountains filled with snow, Skis were of course used in Snowy regions -
4000 BCE
The domestication of Horses, Camels and Donkeys
It is believed that Horses and camels started being ridden by humans and used for labor work and transportation by about 3500 to 4000 BC. -
3100 BCE
Sailing Boats created by the Egyptians
In 3100 BC the Egyptians developed the first ever sailing boats that helped them sail up and down the Nile river and sail as far as the Indus valley. -

Wheeled carts were used in 230 AD in most commonly Asia. later on Staged Coaches were used in Europe for wealthy people in about the 16th Century -

New huge ships were used all over the world these ships could sail all around the world and were strong, huge and mighty ships. -
Fenicular
Vehicles that were very car like were used to travel uphill and up mountains and steep surfaces -
Hot air balloon
The hot air balloon was a source of transportation usually used to fly long distances. This flew threw a source of heat which often could lead to disasters. -
Steam boat
The steam boat was finally created and worked with power and manpower to sail through any bit of water on the earth, Steamboats were the first of many creations coming up in the 18th and 19th century. -
Steam Locomotive (Train)
The steam Locomotive was created and was very fast and efficient to get around but it needed tracks to get around or else it would not work. -
Airship
In 1852 airships were created, but little did everyone know these peaceful flying ships would become mass machines of destruction used in the World wars. -
Subway
In 1863 the most cheap and efficient source of transport was created. This amazing invention is currently one of the most popular sources of transport and would later go on to revolutionize transport with the creation of more advanced designs. -
Motorcycle
Another revolutionary but dangerous source of transport was made in 1885 as a source of quick transport but today has one of the most brutal records for injuries. -
Cars
The first design of cars were created and it was a gas car but later more diesel vehicles got created. The car is probably the most developed type of transport due to its constant change. -
Airplane
In 1903 the first airplanes were created as a source of worldwide and long distance transport, this invention revolutionized world transport. -
Helicopter
Just like the Plane the helicopter was made as a source of long distance transport however it wasn't as successful as the plane. Yet like the plane this invention was used in war. -
Jetliner
In 1952 the most successful and most popular source of transport was made, it was the jetliner which traveled all over the world at a certain amount of time and today is known as a flight or airplane. -
Rocket
In 1961 the rocket was made this was used to travel to space but still we have limits from travelling the whole galaxy but finally Humans could go to space. -
The Future Of Transportation
Self driving cars, Hyper spaceships and rockets, Flying cars, fuel free sources of transport and more are being developed and could potentially revolutionize transport as of today, April twenty third two thousand and seventeen (date of me doing this project) anything could make the future of transportation possible.
