    Peace settlement signed to end WW1. Because of the terms that were in this treaty, Germany became very upset, and this eventually lead to WW2.

    Treaty made after WW1 to ensure that war never broke out again. The U.S. didn't join the League because they thought that it was useless and that it would eventually end in failure.

    The idea that if a population is attacked by another country with nuclear weapons, then they are allowed to fire their nuclear weapons also. This would eventually end in the destruction for most countries.
