    This contributed to our society today because in 1955 , after Rosa Parks was arrested for refusing to give up her seat on a city bus, Martin L. King led a boycott of city buses. After 11 months the Supreme Court ruled that segregation of public transportation was illegal.
    This changes society because if she wouldn't have done that then the buses could still be segregated

    This changed the economy today so much because of the fact that this help the world today be less discriminating
  • Malcom X and Black Nationalism

    This changed america today because he showed that other races can be together just as easily as the same race and when he got 9 months to show his belief and he was shot dead but he still showed the world what he wanted them all to know

    The Selma to Montgomery marches were three protest marches, held in 1965 along the 54 mile highway from Selma, Alabama to the state capital of Montgomery.
    this changed the world today because of the fact that this got African Americans the right to vote
  • The Black Panthers

    The Black Panther Party or the BPP was a revolutionary black nationalist and socialist organization founded by Bobby Seale and Huey Newton in October 1966
    This changed our society today because this gave African Americans more rights
  • MLK was assassinated

    Martin Luther King Jr., American clergyman and civil rights leader, was fatally shot at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee, on April 4, 1968.
    He changed our society today by giving African Americans more rights in the world today
