In 5 Years
In 5 years I see myself attending either the University of Toronto or University of Waterloo for computer sciences. I predict that this will happen because I have the sufficient requirements to attend university. By the time I am done grade 12, I should have all the requirements to graduate high school, including a civics and careers credit. -
In 5 Years (cont)
I predict that I will study in computer sciences because as of now, computers are my main interest and hobby. I have self-taught myself a computer programming language, and I do not intend to stop there. -
In 10 Years
In 10 years I see myself working hard to get accepted into an Ivy League school or MIT for a doctorate degree/PhD. To get here I must get good grades in my undergraduate years. In order for me to get good grades I must attend all my classes and absorb all classroom material. I will take notes in class and listen well. -
In 10 Years (cont)
I must stay organized by using a planner and keeping all book and papers where I can find them. Also, I must use my time wisely so that I can get all my work and tests done. Furthermore, I must study early and often for upcoming tests. -
In 15 Years
In 15 years I will be 30 years old. I see myself working a full time job related to the computer sciences. I may work for a technology company such as google, or maybe a video game company. By now I should have some work experience with part time jobs and volunteer jobs. I will get this job by doing certain things. To get the job I need to build a good resume and cover letter, as well as take an interview. I have learned most of the skills required to do these things. -
In 15 Years (cont)
In my careers course I learned how to format and write a good resume and cover letter. I must apply those skills to make sure that the company takes interest in me and invites me for an interview. To do well in an interview, prepare for interview questions and make responses. I must make a good first impression by arriving on time, dressing well, and being polite. I think that the best of my in 15 years will be working for success, maybe do something revolutionary. -
In 20 Years
In 20 years I will be quiet old. I will be in my mid-30s. I see myself living in my own house and possibly starting a family. To get a house I must search around and do my research. I should be in an acceptable financial status so that buying a house will not make me really poor. Moreover, caring for a family takes a lot of work too. I will be very busy, but I will have income to support my newfound family. In order to take care of a family I am required to have many specific skills. -
In 20 Years (cont1)
I have learned some of these skills in my careers course. I must be responsible. I have to take responsibility and do chores around the house. I will also have to be very patient. I must have patience when dealing with children, because they can be tiring. I must also be flexible. Being flexible is crucial because I must be able to adapt to whatever happens, such as a change in schedule. -

I must also have good communicating skills. In a family, it is important to be able to communicate with my partner and kids so that we can all understand each other and what we need from each other. In my mid-30s, I see myself being very busy, but also happy.
