    The Battles of Lexington and Concord
    These battles were the first actual battles of the American Revolution.When the British came into Lexington a shot was fired by somebody which made the British and minutemen enchange shots betweeen each other. The minutemen were greatly outnumbered so they fell back. The British had won the Battle of Lexington. When the British came into Concord they were meet by a large number of minutemen and American milita and they fell back to Boston. The American milita had won the Battle of Concord.

    The Siege of Fort Ticonderoga
    The American milita needed cannons and more ammuntions carry out successful siege or military operations. Ethan Allen and The Green Mountain Boys and Benedict Arnold teamed up to take the Fort of Ticonderoga, New York. On the night of May 9, 100 men crossed the lake to take over Fort Ticonderoga. They quickly took over the fort becuase most of the British were still in bed. Allen and Arnold took 100 cannons and extra ammuntions

    The Battle of Bunker (Breeds) Hill, Charlestown, Massachusetts
    The American Milita had dug into Bunker Hill to beat the British to higher ground. The British tried to march up the hill but were driven back two times and on the third time the British was able to push through but had lost many soliders. This was one of the most important colonial victories in the American Revolution even though the British took Bunker HIll they still lost many soliders and the American Milita only lost a few soliders.

    American forces with Canadian militia in a attack on the city of Quebec. The British was able to keep the American forces with Canadian milita back for five months. The American foces had to push back becase the arrival of British ships in May 1776. This was the first military loss of the Continental Army.

    The Batttle of Long Island (Brooklyn Heights), New York
    The British had three ships in the Gravesend Bay, Staten Island preparing to cross Long Island. When the ships set off the American milita tried to stop them but were unsuccessful and fell back. Even though they withdrew, they still were able to estroying the property and supplies that the British might use. The British unloaded 40 cannons.This Battle was s win for the British and American milita because the British was able to unload ammuntion and the milita was able to push the British back.

    The Battle of Saratoga (Freeman's Farm), New York
    The American Amry was tying to retake Ticonderoga and the British was trying to push the American Amry back. This conflict lasted till sunset. The two sides were in cannon-shot reach for a considerable time and both the armies were not moving. The American milita and volunteers had incresed greatly and the British army pushed back. The spirts of the Ameican army had greatly incressed because they held the British from breaking through.

    The British was trying to move up the Hudson but two American Forts stood then their way. The British was able to push through and take control of the two forts. The British was also able to destroy the fleet which American had been building on the Hudson.

    The American Army were outnumbered by the British Army. When night fell the American Army came around the rear of the British Army. When they fire upon the British, the British retreat into a college building and surrender. The American Army marches away from the battlefeild and the British Army tries of follow them but was not able to catch up. The Revolution had turned around, soilders from the American Army believed they could stand up againt the enemy toops.

    The British had sailed south to Charleston from New York and secured in the Ashley River. The British got letter that told them about where the rebels were camped out. They started silent march to the rebels' camp and they took the rebels by surprise. After this the British was able to cut off Charleston frorm outside support

    The Battle of Guilford Courthouse
    The British had overrun Georgia and South Carolina and were marcing to Guilford Courthouse, North Carolina. Maj. Nathanael Greene had assembled a army and made it where the army had three major lines that the British had to push through. The British pushed through the first two lined and had heavy fighting on the third line. After the smoke had cleared Greene order his troops to retreat and leaving the British in control of the battlefeild

    The Battle of Yorktown
    This battle was the last major battle of the American Revolution. The British was waiting on a British ship to relive them but the Frence Fleet sank the British Ship. The Frence Fleet stayed in the port town of Yorktown, Virgina so the British Army could not escape by sea. A amry of 4,000 French and 3,000 American soliders marched towards Yorktown to surround the British Amry by land. When the British was fully surrounded they surrendered and agreed on the Treaty of Paris in 1783
