The Napoleonic code was a new set of laws that were made after the revolution for the new changes for France. It was very similar to the Enlightenment principles. The laws consists of property, colonial affairs, the family, and individual rights. -

This is where Napoleon dies in 1821 of a stomach ailment, perhaps cancer. The British shipped Napoleon to St. Helena, a “remote island” which is in the South Atlantic. There, he lived in alone for 6 years and he wrote his memories here.
