Mary Anning was born in May 21, 1799, into a poor family, in Lyme Regis, a small town on the so-called Jurassic Coast of southern England, where cliffs hold fossilized evidence of life on Earth millions of years ago.. She died in March 9, 1847. Parents: Richard Anning, Mary Moore. Sibling: Joseph
