Battle of the Gonzales
The Battle of Gonzales is the first battle of the texas revolution. This is basically the battle that mexico and texas fought for a cannon. Mexico wanted the cannon back that they lended to Texas. Texas put up a fight and said "Come and take it". The conclusion was Mexico let down and the cannon ended up getting buried underground. So, Texas one but no one got the cannon. -
Convention of 1836
The Convention of 1836 was basically the event where the Texas Declaration made and signed by George C. Childress. -
Battle of the Alamo
The Battle of the Alamo texans and mexicans were fighting fought over the alamo buliding for 13 days. The texans were greatly outnumberd and still put up a great fight. All though the conclusions came to Mexico winning, All the texans died that day that volunteered to help. -
Battle of Coleto Creek
Sam Houston ordered for Fannin and his men to go to Victoria. They were surrounded by the Mexicans. The texians surrendered and were taken prisoner. When they were killed it was called the Goliad Massacre. -
Goliad Massacre
This is battle that fannin and his men, were surrounded by Urrea and his men at Refugio. Fannin surrenderd, and was taken to a prison. Fannin and his men were getting treated well at the prison. Santa Anna figured out, and sent an order for them to be killed. On a sunny day, fannin and his men were marched out on a prarie with the mindset that they were going to freed. One by one Urrea and his men shot Fannin and his group to death. They shot fannin last. "Remember the Goliad they cried. -
Battle of San Jacinto
Sam Houston were sick of Santa Anna. They had just heard of the disaster at the Alamo. He and men went from houston to gonzales by the time they got there they had got 1000 to 1500 men. They got a gift called the twin sisters(cannon). General Sam Houston had two horses shot out from under him, and his ankle was shot. Santa Anna stole a horse and fled. Texians won the battle in 18 minutes.
