Voters approve bond issues
In November 2016 Tallmadge voters passed a 3.9 mill bond issue to fund construction of two new school buildings. They also approved a .9 mill bond issue for new high school athletic facilities. -
Ground broken for new schools
In November 2017 school and community leaders gathered to break ground for the new school buildings. -
Middle School scheduled to open
Construction of the middle school is to be completed first with the building ready for students at the start of the 2019/2020 school year. -
Athletic facilities open
The new football stadium is expected to welcome fans for the first home game of the season in 2019. -
New elementary building opens
The new kindergarten through 5th grade building is scheduled to open midyear of the 2019-20 school year. It's expected to be ready for students when they return from Christmas break.
