This was when Robert Frost was born. He had a hard childhood! -
When his dad left him.
His dad left the family to go to the civil war and fight for the south. Frost had to find a way to support his family because his mom was exceptionally poor. -
He went to live with his grandfather.
He had to live with his grandfather to try and make enough money to help him and his mom out with there financial problems. -
His father dies in the civil war.
HIs father died from 4 shots in his chest. This was a important moment in Roberts life. It ment that they no longer got the money from wich his dad was making. In Turn his mom ended up doing doing twice as many jobs jst to pay for herself. -
He started writing poems.
This is when he first started writing and thinking about his future. -
Went to college.
This is when Roberts grandfather said that he would pay for college, Frost left as soon as possible! Two years later Frost got a formal degree. -
Frost wrote his first real poem.
This is when Frost wrote his first serious poem and tried to get it published and the declined it! -
First kid
His first kids name was elliot. -
Became a college Teacher
Frost Finally accomplished his dream of becoming a college teacher. And Loved his students and started directing his poetry towards them. -
First pulitzer prize
