Unexpected event
Research contests had me worried about making display boards and tarpolines. Media played a big role in this event. I never thought I could join a research contest let alone win won. -
I only held them once.
The photo where I held two trophies was not posted in other websites but this one was. The trophies I held was for NCR being the highest scorer and for being 1st place in the regional competition. I could bring them with me but they were housed at DepEd Manila. -
National Science and Technology Fair 2016
A thick dictionary with translations in different dialects was given to the top three projects. Photos and video of the event were uploaded at the Facebook page of NSTF Philippines.
All the loneliness I felt while away from family and friends was worth it. I met new friends from all over the country and had a great time learning. -
Bringing home the bacon or a very thick dictionary
My NCR family was really proud that day. A dictionary was given to the top three winners of the event. It was dictionary of the translation to different dialects. -

I had joined a competition in Thailand as was part of the Philippine team at IMWIC 2016. My name as well as those who joined other international competitions was posted in my school's website. I never thought I would be allowed to travel abroad without my parents but they let me go. It was great learning about o Thailand with friends from different schools. -
Flag Raising Ceremony
In large gymnasiums and concert halls, projectors are used so that the audience in the farthest area of the room can also see the stage. This was my first time to attend the flag raising ceremony and it was a great honor to meet Mayor Lani. -
Department of Science and Technology
Media board background was impressive. Some participants had joined so many contests abroad. I never knew they had this event. They actually gave out free lunch from Gloria Maris. I missed my morning class but it was worth it. I met the friends I was with in Thailand. -
The Certificates
Certificates are so important that no matter what event, we always have to show we have one. In this photo, I am with a friend I had traveled with. He is great in Math and often competes against Manila Science. -

Never thought I would see Marina Bay Sands in person this year. We left after the awarding ceremony to see this hotel that also had the restaurant of Gordon Ramsay. It was one of the best times of my life. -
International Competitions and Assessments for Schools
The award given to those who take the ICAS is posted online. I take this every year to determine if I am improving and determine in what areas I have difficulty. I was able to get a distinction award equivalent to second place.
