William Duffin Grants Dassey's Petition
Federal magistrate, William Duffin, grants Brendan Dassey's for writ of habeas corpus, deeming his confession as involuntary. As a result, Duffin gives prosecutors in Wisconsin 90 days to decide whether or not to retry Dassey or to release him. -

Zellner's 599-Page Request
Kathleen Zellner filed a 599-page document to the Wisconsin Circuit Court to ask permission to supply data obtained fro the Dassey family laptop to Avery's case. She insists that the CD proves that Bobby Dassey (older brother of Brendan Dassey) gave a false testimony during the original investigation. Zellner also believes Bobby Dassey should be speculated as a person of interest for the murdering of Theresa Halbach. -
