Summary: The men have to stuff there ears with wax because the if they here the sound of they will be attracted to it and the monster will kill them. O however does not fill his ears with wax to prove his greatness and that he also because he is curious to hear the sound. So his men tie him to the ship so that when he hears the sound he leave the ship and follow the sound. -

Sirens Analysis
Analysis: I think that it would have been best for O to just stuff his ears with wax as well. I think that if his crew was loyal they shouldn't have to see O be strong they could just believe in him. I also think that it was bad because what if O couldn't resist the sound and he was lured to the sirens then the crew would have no leader and O would never reach his goal of coming home. He put his whole mission of getting home at risk by doing this
