  • My First Pet

    My First Pet
My family got our first puppy named Biscuit. She was a King Charles Cavalier and she was three months old when we took her home. When we got home, my brother and I sat on my brothers bed with her and surprised him when he got home. When he walked into the room he turned on the light and saw the new puppy and he was so happy that he started crying.
  • First MLB Game

    First MLB Game
I went to my first baseball game at Shea Stadium. They were playing the Philadelphia Phillies and I remember this game because when we went down to field level, one of the Philly players came up to me and handed me a ball. I still have the ball on my dresser in my bedroom. I also got to see some of my favorite players on the Mets such as Jose Reyes and David Wright. This was a perfect experience because it was the first time I stepped foot into a baseball stadium.
  • Baseball Championship

    Baseball Championship
My baseball team won a championship after an intense game. We were down by three in the top of the last inning and I hit a triple with the bases loaded to take the lead. I pitched the whole game and we ended up winning by two runs.
  • First Death

    First Death
On this day I experienced death for the first time. My dog Biscuit passed away from lymphoma which is a type of cancer that is typical in that breed. She died on my bedroom floor right after I said goodbye and left for school. Our whole family was devastated because we were all so close to her.
  • Getting My Second Dog

    Getting My Second Dog
This was a tough decision because my family and I were devastated after our first puppy passed away so we were all hesitant to get a new dog. We surprised my brother again with this puppy. His name is Charlie and he's a mix of a cocker spaniel and poodle. We still have Charlie to this day and I'm very glad we made the decision to get him because he's very affectionate and he brings my family together.
  • Derek Jeter's Retirement Ceremony

    Derek Jeter's Retirement Ceremony
My family and I attended Derek Jeter's retirement ceremony. This was very emotional because my brothers and I grew up watching the Yankees and seeing him retire made us feel bittersweet. We were upset about not being able to see him play anymore but at the same time, we were happy to see him move on in life after playing in the MLB for nineteen years.
  • First Day of High School

    First Day of High School
I remember the excitement and nervousness I felt on my first day of high school. I was excited to start and new school, meet new people, but at the same time, I was nervous about finding all my classrooms because I thought the school was huge. I had a map in my backpack in case I got lost but that ended up being useless because I quickly realized that the school had a very basic layout. After the first week I knew where everything was in the building.
  • My First Job

    My First Job
On this day I got my first job at Kobackers. This was a great day for me because I could finally learn how to make and manage my own money. I was excited to be able to go out with friends and spend my own money rather than borrowing money from my parents all the time. I still work there now and it has taught me a lot of responsibility and I made a bunch of new friends.
  • First Family Roadtrip

    First Family Roadtrip
My parents, brothers, sister, dog and I rented a van to go to Florida instead of buying a plane ticket because we thought that it would be more fun and we wanted to do something different. We ended up having a great time and we made a ton of memories. It took around twenty-two hours because my parents kept stopping every five minutes it felt like. In Florida, we stayed at a hotel on the beach and also went to Universal Studios.
  • First Concert

    First Concert
I attended my first concert in Madison Square Garden to see one of my favorite artists, Drake. I went there with my two brothers and it was one of the best nights of my life.
