Beckett attended Trinity College in Dublin fro for years. He studied English. French, and Italian while he went there. He graduated with a BA. -

After finishing school at Trinity College, Beckett began teaching in Paris. He taught at École Normale Supérieure. This is when he met James Joyce, who he would soon become close friends with. -
First Work
The first piece of work that Beckett publsihed was his essay called "Dante... Bruno. Vico.. Joyce". This essay defended the work of his close friend James Joyce. -

Beckett spends a brief time teaching via lecture at the college he attended. In this time he wrote one french parody paper. When re resigned, he wrote his poem entitled "Gnome". -

Secret Secret relationship
Samuel Beckett was is cahoots with Barbara Bray from the late fifties through the end of his life. Remember that this entire time he is still married to Suzanne. Barbara worked at the BBC as a screen editor. The relationship went a great deal to the both of them. -

Beckett won this prize after writing many of his successful plays. -

Later works
Beckett's later works seemed to get more and more absurd. Not only absurd, but quite minimalist. One example of this would be his play he wrote in 1969 entitled Breathe. The work has no characters and is only about thirty five seconds in duration. -

Gadot returns
