Sacagawea was 17 when she met Lewis and Clark. She played the role as an interprete and negotiator. She met them after being trapped for 5 years with the Hidasta Indians. -

Toussaint was a French Canadian explorer. He was also a trapper. Toussaint was a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Toussaint was 37 when they got married. -

Sacagawea's first child was named Jean Baptistse. Sacagawea was 17 when she had Jean. She will have her next kid at age 24. -

Sacagawea had her second child
Sacagawea is now 24. She has Liseette Charbonneau. This is her second child. Lisette will die in 1813. When Sacagawea dies William Clark will adopt both of her children. -
Sacagawea died
Sacagawea dies in 1812. She was 24 years old. This is also the year that she had her second child. Sacagawea died of typhus. She was buried in Lander, Wyoming.
