My first big family vacation. I was afraid of nearly every ride and many of the characters. My biggest priority was getting to see Piglet and I even threw a tantrum when he went on his break. -
Grandma Rookus dies.
My great grandma passed away when I was 4.I don't remember much of her except that she always had Teddy Grams and a lot of ice cream. -
First year of school!
I started DK with Mrs. LeFebre at Marshall Elementary -
Kindergarten graduation!
I get my first taste of graduation in a styrofoam bowl cap as I finish kindergarten! -

Kramer dies.
Our family cat Kramer is put down. -
Mom and dad divorce.
After almost 20 years of marriage, my parents get a divorce when I am 8 years old. -
Emilee graduates!
My oldest sister Emilee graduates high school and begins at Grand Valley in the fall! -
Started dance!
I tried out for Byron Center's dance team and made it! I would be apart of this program for the next 5 1/2 years! -
Mom remarries!
My mom marries my stepdad Chris on November 9. I also gain 4 more siblings! -
I'm an aunt!
My sister gives birth to her first son and my first nephew, Kayden Richard, on June 3, 2014. -
Brooke dies.
Our dog, Brooke, is put down in September. -
Dad remarries!
My dad and stepmom, Jill, get married on August 6. I gain one more step-sibling! -
Hurricane Harvey
Hurricane Harvey hits Texas and Louisiana as a Category 4. -
Grandpa dies.
