Robinson Crusoe's Birth
He was born in the city of York in England in a good family and, even if the family name was Kreutznaer, they were called Crusoe. -

He decided to go aboard with a friend without telling his parents but, as soon as the ship was at sea, they came across a storm. -

During a voyage in Africa, the captain of a Turkish ship made him his slave but 2 years later, he managed to escape with two of his friends. -
Meeting with Negroes
After the escape from the Turkish ship, Robinson and his two friends sailed along the coast of Africa for ten days and they met the Negroes, black people that live in Africa. They socialized with these men and they helped each other until Xury, a friend of Robinson, saw a ship, they reached it and they sailed to Brazil. -

He worked as a sugar planter but he wasn't happy in his new life so he decided to go with three planters in Africa to buy slaves. -
Stranded on the island
Crusoe spends his time planting corn, barley, and rice. He learns to make bread. He builds furniture, weaves baskets, and makes pots. Crusoe also raises goats and tends to his little animal family of cats, dogs, and a parrot.
Alone on the island, Crusoe becomes stronger in his religious faith, eventually submitting to the authority of God. He devotes himself to much religious reflection and prayer. -
Another disastrous voyage to Africa
He went aboard the ship exactly 8 years after his first voyage, but a hurricane and a storm hit the ship and it broke into pieces. Robinson succeeded to swim up to the shore and save his life. -
Discovering Natives
After 15 years alone in the island, Robinson found on the shore a human footprint: at the beginning, he was extremely afraid thinking about who can live in these island but a short time later he found human bones and he discovered that in the same island lived a tribe of cannibals -
Saving Friday
Later, Crusoe saw a ship, but he thought that everyone was already drowned. Sometime later, cannibals landed on the island and a victim escaped. Crusoe saved his life, named him Friday, and taught him English. Friday soon became Crusoe's loyal and devoted slave. -
Attacking Natives
While savages were eating the flesh of one of their prisoners, Friday and Robinson decided to attack them and rescue other prisoners: they defeated 21 cannibals and saved 2 hostages: one of them was Spaniard and the other one was Friday's father. -
Leaving the island
The Spanish sailor,who was rescued by Crusoe,reveals to Robinson that there are other Spanish castaways on the island. Because of that, he decided to organise a plan to build a ship and go back to Europe. Before they were able to apply the plan, an English ship appeared; Robison and the ship’s captain made and agreement according to which Crusoe will help the captain to leave rebels on the island with him and the other prisoners.
After 38 years, two months and 19 days, Robinson left the island. -
Arriving in England
He got married and had three children but a short time later his wife died.
A friend of his came home from a successful voyage and he persuaded him to ship to the East Indies.
