Spanish Bourbons in the 18th century sparked instability in the relationship in the rulers and the peasants in the Americas. Creoles felt that Bourbon policy was unfair to their wealth, status, and political power. The Creoles were very angry, but they didn't fight yet, and the policy wasn't a cause for the fight of independence. Two years later, liberal constitution was introduced, but the Creoles still were discriminated against them.
