    The Treaty of Paris-1763 was an agreement by the kingdoms of Great Britain, France and Spain, with Portugal. It was signed in agreement, after Britain's victory over France and Spain during the Seven Years' War.

    The Sons of Liberty were the masterminds behind the Boston Tea Party. They played an important role because the Boston Tea Party was a big step in the Revolution.

    The Stamp Act was written by the Brittish Parlimentary. This imposes a tax on the Colonists on every printed piece of paper. The paper would be printed in London with a stamp showing the British. The money collected by the Stamp Act was used to pay for the effects caused in the war. This was important because it sparked the colonists want for freedom because of the unfair taxes.

    This is important because it was taxing the colonists by forcing the colonists to provide housing and accomodations for the British soldiers. This is one of the events that led up to the Boston Tea Party.

    The Boston Tea Party was when a group of protesting Patriots ddisguised themselves as Indians and went onto the British ships arriving at the port. In protest for the British taxing everything, the Patriots dumped all the British's tea into the harbor.

    The Intolerable Act was was the Colonists name for the laws the British passed that related to Massachuttes and the Boston Tea Party. The Acts took away rights from the thirteen colonists. The Colonists got angry and wanted to fight back, which was a start of the war.

    George Washington was the first President of the United States (1789–1797), the commander-in-chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War, and one of the Founding Fathers of the United States. In the Revolutionary War, he was one of the generals. What made him so important is that he never surrendered even after after may losses and kept leading his men to success.

    According to an old storyGeneral Washington met in the night at the Battle of Trenton on the morning of December 26, 1776 because the Hessians of the town defenders had been up late the night before celebrating Christmas. The story explains that the Patriots made quick work, but the Hessian troops were hardly the hapless drunks of legend. They were generally excellent soldiers.
    The term "Hessians" refers to the approximately 30,000 German soldiers who were hired by the British to help fight.

    Benedict Arnold was a general for the American Army, but eventually switched to the British's side as a brigadier general. As an American soldier, he took command of the fort at Westpoint. He had a plan to surrender to the British, but was exposed and joined the British.

    The Battle of Yorktown was believed to be one of the most important battles in the American revolution because it was the battle in which the British surrendered and the Colonists gained freedom through victory.

    Lord Cornwallis was a British general. He was a generally good general, but he was not able to defeat the Continental Army. He is most famous for his surrendering of the war at the Battle of Yorktown. He is accused of 'losing America'.
