    My dad gave me a Spanish version of Richard Bach - Jonathan Livingston Seagull book. He thought the story would be important to me read. The message is follow your heart. Sadly I lost this book, but I think It would be in my to do list get a copy for my kids to read.

    I don't remember how this book series from J.J. Benitez came to my hands, but when I read the first and from them the following I was intrigued, it combines religion with science, but for me what it got me most was the dialogue between the main character and Jesus. For a person that is searching for anwsers, this interaction between character was a fresh air.

    Around 2004 I start getting interested in books that had intrigue, Syfy or that sort of genre. At that time as many people Dan Brown - The Da Vinci Code was one of those books that you become curious.

    For a short period of time, I work for some sort of rehab place for teens, I was some sort of chaperone, keeping an eye on the groups, even taking them to N.A. or A.A. meetings for their recovery. One of the things they do before going to bed was reading a daily thought from Karen Casey book Girl to Girl: Daily Thoughts on Living for Girls. I really felt this is something my two girls could read, so I bought it for them.

    Yes, I dirty secret among housewives, blame it to Fifty Shades of Grey. In my defense, I start reading this to distract me from more serious reading, at the time reading sociology, psychology and all this type of materials was driving me nuts, so smug books became a distraction.

    My daughter is training to become a professional wrestler, her character or gimmick is a heel or the bad guy. Part of her gear has leather bracelets necklace and a book cover with leather pieces, in my mind I was "I can make those", I started to go and take a couple of classes and finding books that help me learn the skill, and I have to say I didnt do that bad.

    So this year I apply for my citizenship, and there are 100 questions they ask you to study. been back in college, taking History 102 help but still doesn't make me an expert, many people tell me that not even an American citizen knows all the civic, history etc questions. Still when approval rellies in 10 questions out of 100 you become scare.
