    When I was in 5th grade my dad moved out of my families house. At this time I began to realize that I would not have a father to guide me in life, I would have to be my own father and teach myself several how to be a man and how to live without a father figure.

    I ventured to a brand new culture, one similar to the one my mother was raised in. This culture shaped many of my own values, behavior, and taste. The exposure to another vastly different culture changed me forever.

    I joined the Walsh Middle School Band as a Clarinet. This is were I met my life long clarinet mentor and found my first family.

    Before I enter high school, I am subject to a rigorous audition process and make a marching spot. Little did I know that this organization would grow to become my closets friends and teach me so much about myself, discipline, respect, hard work, and teamwork. In addition I marched in the 2015 Rose Bowel Parade this year.

    My Marching band makes 6th place in Grand Nationsals
    My band makes 6th place in the national competition of bands. This made me want to become a clarinet performance major. This gave me a love and appreciation for music and the preforming arts.

    My senior year of high school I take Advance Placement Chemistry with Mr. Boylan and do pretty well in the class but I enjoy it. I am also told by my life long mentor (in the clarinet) to not be a clarinet performance major. I decide to pursue a career in medicine similar to my mother.

    My mom pushes me to visit butler and I love the campus. I don't get accepted to the PA school, I instead pursue Advance General Chemistry with Dr. Davis, who makes me adore the subject.
