    Being born
    Being born was one of the greatest gift my mother could've given me. Even though it is hard sometimes to live up to my parents expectations, it was a great day to be free of the womb.
  • Meeting family

    When i met the other side of my family fort the first time, I didn't know what to expect. So when we met I loved them! They were so nice and proud. It made me learn to really value family no matter who they are or where they live.
  • My first dog

    My first dog
    When I got my first puppy I was so excited. This helped me develop as a person because there was so much responsibility that comes with being a dog owner. Just like in life, we all have to have some responsibility.
  • My first concert

    I saw Taylor swift for my first concert and it was great! After seeing her, I knew instantly that this is what I wasn't to do fro the rest of my life. She helped me understand what my calling was.

    I have always wanted to become a musician and when i really decided that I wanted to do this for the rest of my life it was one of the best feeling in the world because i am so passionate about what I do and so confident in what I have accomplished.

    Music gets me through so much. It is my passion and my whole life revolves around it. When I wrote my first song, i released that i was pretty good at it. This taught me that I can do anything I put my mind to.
  • Learning guitar

    When i was first learning how to play guitar, it was really hard for me and it was very frustrating. My father always told me "If it was easy... everyone would do it." That really stuck with me through everything. This taught me that no matter what I do, I can accomplish it, no matter how difficult it may be.

    When my great grandmother passed away it was very hard to deal with. I was always very close with my grandmother and when you lose someone that is so close to your heart it takes a while to get back on your feet again. This really taught me that you never know what is going to happen to you or a loved one and that you should spend as much time as you can with them. This has also showed me to be strong and enjoy the time i have with the people I love cause they wont always be there in the future.

    When my first nephew was born it changed my life completely. I wanted to become an even better person for him and myself.I chan ged for the better to show him that I was worthy to be his aunt.
  • Joining volleyball

    When i first joined volleyball i loved it and it kept me really busy and disciplined. This showed me that I have to be like this with everything life has to throw at me... or spike at me.
  • Love story

    I had my first boyfriend in my freshman year and it was great. Things didn't keep going but it was one of the most interesting things I have ever done in my life. So many obstacles we had to overcome. This just taught me that you don't need someone in your life to make you happy and there is so much more to life than one person. This day I thank him for always being so supportive of me and helping me always. He will forever be a friend that will last a lifetime.

    When my second nephew was born, I loved it. I had made so much progress with myself and i made a promise to my self that I would be the best aunt ever to my baby boys.

    When my first niece was born I knew I had to become a "mom" figure for her.My brother wasn't the best fit father for her and he is still learning how. I know i needed to help him become the great father he is today and me take on a whole other role. When we get to see her i do everything her mom would do to not try and distance her from her mother. I needed her to know that she would be loved no matter what house she was in.
  • High school

    My first day of high school was very exciting and nerve racking. I didn't know what to expect. Once i got in, it felt like nothing was different. I met a lot of new people but i had a lot of friends from elementary school. All of this taught me that you make high school what you want it to be. And that everything may not be what it seems to be.

    When I was a sophomore in high school, I was on the varsity volleyball team. It was a great experience and i loved playing so much. Then, one in practice I tore on of my ligaments in my foot. Ouch. It was very painful and I was never the same after months of physical therapy. This taught me that I need to be more careful and that maybe this was a sign that I need to stop playing volleyball. Even though I miss it sometimes, I have bigger and better things now to accomplish. And I will.
  • Hospital visit

    When i was in the hospital for hives and swollen ankles, it taught me that I really need to be more responsible and be careful with what I eat in my everyday life. It also taught me to be safe with everything I do.
  • Golf

    Golf
    Golf is a very hard sport and the first time i joined it i was very intimidated when I first got on the course. All of the other girls were so good and experienced. Then when I went out there and did my best and earned some of the girls respect. This taught me that when i feel scared and intimidated, just believe in myself and do my best always.
  • Joining IBCP

    Joining IBCP
    When i joined ibcp, i didn't know what to expect. I thought it was going to be very hard and full with lots of obstacles but turns out i love it! All of the teachers are really great and nice and help you get trough stuff. They are all really supportive and i really love every single one of the people i have in our cohort.
  • Tears

    The time I made my mother cry was one of the most horrible things I have ever seen or done. I never meant to make my mother cry, I was just saying what was on my mind and not really thinking that what was coming out of my mouth was hurting her. This made me realize that one, I will never do that again to my mother and two, that I need to really be careful and think of what I say before I just go ahead and say it.
  • Hospital visits

    In my family, there is a lot of death and pain. When my grandfather was admitted into the hospital last week, it was a true scare. This taught me that not everyone will always be around so I need to spend as much time as I can with the ones I love.
