    To break the spirit of Chinese resistance the Japanese General Matsui Iwane ordered that the city of Nanking to be destroyed most of the city was burned and the took vast amounts of prisoner and killed many more also they raped at least 20,000 women and girls of all ages most killed in the act this was really devastating to the Chinese and all thus was done out of humiliation.

    Blitzkrieg was an attack tactic used by the Germans that would disorganize the enemy troops by using mobile forces and a lot of fire power. its so successful that it resulted in short military campaigns which saved human lives. why did the Germans use this attack? they used this attack because it had a very high success rate.     This was an attack against the Japanese by the u.s marines that took part on the island of iwo jima that had 3 Japanese air bases that could be used to attack japan this was said to be one of the most brutal attacks of the war that lasted five weeks but since japan was left wounded from other attacks they could not defend the island this helped us a great amount because we had the top of the hill.

    The u.s dropped two bombs one on Hiroshima and one on Nagasaki this first bomb was dropped and wiped out 90% of all life leaving 80 000 people and later more would die of radiation. 3 days later the dropped the second bomb killing 40 000 people this was done to stop the war and prove a point this was tragic but it had to be done.
