The College Employer Council rejects a comprehensive offer of settlement from OPSEU, which modified some of the union's demands while keeping the same basic idea. At the same time, OPSEU rejects the Council's offer, which included a 7.5 per cent pay raise for faculty over four years. -

At recommendation of the conciliator overseeing talks, both sides take a break for a week to cool off. -
Collective agreement expires
College faculty are left without a collective agreement after the one signed in 2014 expires. -
OPSEU gives strike notice as bargaining resumes
Bargaining resumes and new meetings are scheduled. OPSEU sets Oct. 16 at 12:01 a.m. as the deadline for an agreement before faculty strike. -
