Basic Integration
For the most part this sheet told me i got the basics down. Theres no need to go into a panic AP study mode yet. Its hard to focus on school knowing were heading into spring break. -
Diff Eqs
First day back! Seperating the variables is still an easy task. Logistics, however, are not. Time to go home and watch some youtube review videos. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Et4Y41ZNyao

Convergent/Divergent Series
Series seemed to take up the majority of calculus, and it seems to have worn in pretty good. Knew what most of the series were going to do right off the bat. Studying is important for the AP, but this is not where i should focus my efforts. -
Infinite Series
Same story here. After a quick refresher on the big 10 rules most questions were a breeze. I feel that i have a very good understanding of most of the topics, but a quick review will help me keep sharp for the game. -
Power Series
Formulating a power series with given terms is hard for me. I remember i learned that. Spent some time doing practice problems tonight and getting a feel for how to do it. Other than formulating the sumation, i had a good understanding for power series, its not too different than the infinite series. -
Advanved Integration
Its like integration. But harder. But not by a whole lot. If i am formulaic in my approach to each problem and address all ways it can be possibly solved, i tend to be alright. Thank the calculus gods that there is no trig substitution, that makes all of our lives a lot of a bit easier. -
Applications of Integration
Is it me or was all of this topic taught junior year. Anyways after writting the formulas a couple of times, It wasnt difficult at all. Just have to take notes of the axis being revolved around and the points of intersection. Still struggle to do this in polar though... hope it isnt on the test. -
Polar Review
Polar has been the hardest unit for me to get a full understanding of all year. Maybe because its so close to the end of everything. The review in class just told me i have a lot of studing to do tonight. Doesnt help that i have an english paper due tomorrow.Test should be challenging but i think ill do fair enough on it. -
Polar test
Probably the most difficult test all year. Glad to say this unit is over. Should still study this material for the AP, but i would rather look at other math topics. Maybe im just a square because i cant seem to get a hang of these curves. -
Friday, We're Close!
Main focus last night was getting the English paper done. Can use the weekend to go in depth on everything i feel uncomortable with, which isnt a lot. Hoping for a low stress weekend easing into AP week. -
2 Days Before
The big study day. Better be relaxed for tomorrow. Glossing over all of the main topics, doing practice problems. Feel relatively ready. -
Burning the midnight oil
Not really, Its a day before, I feel perfectly comfortable for the test, i did fine on the practice and have basic or better understandings of every topic on it. Hoping for a peaceful night of sleep. -
The Big Game
Rough night of sleep, test went smooth. Nothing suprised me and i had time to go back through my work and double check. Calc seems to have easy tests in general and i didnt have to stress myself out with the studying too much. Thank you Mr. Hyman for quality teaching throughout the year. Without your dedication to us as students, i seriously doubt we would have learned as much as we did.
