Television
When I was younger, my favorite past time was watching tv. I watched channels such as Cartoon Network, Nickelodian and National Geographic. Now that I can stream tv series, movies, anime and more, I seldom watch television. -
Books
When I was very young, I used to browse through the books in the house despite not being able to read. I remember looking at a book about Barbie and also a book about the anatomy of sharks. When I got a little older and was able to understand what I was reading, my favorite book was Clifford the big red dog. Now that I am older, I have books that are for leisure and books for learning such as a Physics text book, modules from the gov., a Calculus book, and many more. -
Magazines
I am fond of magazines. Whenever I am in a hotel or airplane, I make sure to check out their magazines. I choose the magazines that I look at. If I think that the layout is well done, I take interest in that magazine. I read some of its content but mostly I appreciate the way its content is organized. -
Social Media (Facebook)
It was in the year 2010 when I got my first social media account. The first social media platform I was exposed to was Facebook. I asked helped from my brother to create an account so that I can play Facebook games such as Pet Society, FarmVille, Tetris and many more. Now, I use it often to communicate with my friends and family. -
Smartphones
i remember my first was a Sony Ericsson. It had both a qwerty keypad and a touchscreen. At that time it wasn't even important what kind of phone I had. I only had a phone so that I can text my parents in case of emergency. Now, I own an iPhone 5s. I use it to browse social media, take pictures, text my family and friends, play games, and use apps that will aid me in studying -
Social Media (Twitter)
After getting a Facebook account, I heard about Twitter which is another form of social media. I am able to share my thoughts more freely with Twitter as compared to Facebook. I am able to 'retweet' tweets that are funny to me or if I think that it is information that needs to be seen by everyone. I have learned a lot from Twitter especially when it comes to social issues because people tend to be a lot more expressive in Twitter compared to Facebook. -
Laptop
Before getting my own laptop, I had to use our family's pc which was quite a hassle. Whenever I had to work on something, I had to stay there the whole time but with a laptop, I was able to move around and bring my work to other places. Having a laptop is much more convenient. I use my laptop mainly for doing schoolwork and from time to time I use it for leisure. Piano Books
I started playing the piano when I was around 13 years old. With the piano books my teachers lend me, I am able to play different pieces from composers all around the world and from different eras of music.
