Ethan
I met my cousin Ethan when I was 6 years old. The moment we met we were best buds. I met him and he immediately started teaching me how to be an idiot. Let's just say, it worked. Not meeting him would have made me a very boring person. -
Math
When I went to the 5th grade, I started doing complicated math. That is when I realized I despised math. Fractions weren't something we worked on much, but if you looked at me while we were doing them, you would wonder what was wrong with me. Math was not my strong suit and I realized that really fast in the first couple weeks of school. -
Lainey
When I was in 5th grade I was experiencing bullying and was considering transferring schools. One day while I was outside I was sitting on the sidewalk and just felt like I should start walking to the middle of the school yard, so I did. Little did I know another girl (Lainey) was also walking to the middle. We stopped and just started dancing the same dance and singing the same song. To this day we are still best friends. -
Bass playing
I was hanging out with my aunt one day and she wanted to show me her new bass guitar. When she did she asked if I wanted her to teach me something on it. I said yes and she taught me a song and how to read tabs. That was when I realized I loved playing instruments and wanted to be a musician. -
LR Zoo
In 2018 the Little Rock Zoo started a teen volunteering program. I started working at the zoo in the summer and I quickly became close with the other volunteers there. The other volunteers were also really weird and supported me. This helped me gain self esteem again and make new friends that I know will last a life time.
