The old school
In 1975 was born the school with the name of Liceo Rogelio Ruiz Pérez, this had around 50 students all of them were women, in that time the school was located in what now people name La Casa Campesina. -
The New building
The school was moved to the building where it is now. The new school has a modern construction with more students, around 100.
The reason of the school was focused in forming students until eleventh grade. -
Forming teachers
From 1996 the school gets the character of Normal Superior in Antioquia and this one begins with about 800 students to offer the opportunity to be teachers, studying two years more in the school and expands new horizons to its students. -
Deserved prize
The Normal of San Roque wins an important prize for its support to the infancy with social project works and in this way The Normal becomes a leader in good pedagogical practices with children, when they are in their first 6 years. -
Using the ICT
In this year the program computers to educate began to support the school with new computers and internet connection, from that moment the school faces the challenge of being a digital school. -
A reconized school
Nowadays, this is the school Normal Superior of San Roque, which is one of the best of the northeast of Antioquia and it is working very hard to expand student’s horizons to interact with competences in a globalized world.
