The what was abey said all slaves in the south shall henceforth be free! the proclamation went into effect in the north. because tons of African Americans were fleeing the south to join the North's military so abe thought hey maybe if I pen up an executive order that declares slaves freed maybe more would escape the south and join the north.

To start Americas pulled on the Nazi murdering train when the Japanese ordered the bombing of pearl harbour on Dec 7, that's the main event of 1941, the invasion of Stalingrad attempted invasion of Moscow and then the Soviets learn about winning, they proceeded to start pushing on the Germans, whilst America was rolling japan using "island hopping", most of the extermination camps were operating during this period. one last thing is development of the V-1/V-2 rockets

    WWII #3 1942-1945

    the v1/2 rockets roll of the german production line as america beats up the japanese, in late 1943 the german assault on stalingrad ends with a soviet victory. the soviets start winning a lot pushing germany out of poland as they retake occupied territory in crimea. then italy is invaded, and is pushed into joining the allies when... D-day happens and the allies liberate france pushing germany to surrender. then last but not least hiroshima and nagasaki get nuked causing the end of the war.

    It occurred in Virginia when the Virginia state government unconstitutionally arrested a person of African American descent.(Irene morgan) The supreme court ruled against Virginia as in this situation the law allowing the segregation of buses conflicted with the tenth amendment in which it states any laws put into place by a state, if it conflicts with the American people, can be appealed to the supreme court. if they rule against the state, the law placed will be removed.

Julius's brother, Davis Greenglass was convicted too, as he had secretly handed info to the soviets too, though he testified against his brother and only served ten years for the same charges. The judgement took place in the southern new York federal court. This is an example of the "red scare" which swept over the U.S. during the cold war.

The "leader" and figurehead of the movement was Martin Luther King Jr. as he repeatedly swayed Congress to pass bills giving not only African Americans rights, but it also insured the rights of Japanese Americans.
